2018 Audi TT has more refined look compared to the previous generation. The improvements allow the car to be more aggressive than before. The smooth and unadulterated hood is presented for its front and the four-ring badge opposed the grille. The dramatic change is available for its grille. It will come with hexagonal shape that has honeycomb mesh. For its bottom edge, the grille has Quattro logo. For the headlights, they are less rounded shape and a bit recessed for under the hood. The front end comes with more 3D effect and the corners of the fascia will be redesigned. What is more is the vertical louver for its edge and honeycomb mesh, small air-dam vent located below the grille with two vertical louvers and the front end with more character than ever. The side mirrors are completed with front wheel arch to the rear and the company removes the body line between the front wheel arches while the side skirts lose its more aggressive styling. The rear has taillights in sharp design and the standard of wheels will be 19-inch and the optional is 20-inch with forged lightweight rollers. The taillights and rear are redesigned with slant inward and the sharper taillights. All the new diffuser is in black with small spoiler to improve its aerodynamic performance.
It takes much time for Audi to redesign the interior. The standard will get full digital virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch of display screen as instrument cluster and there are three different views. There will be a special RS screen to display tachometer and engine performance like tire pressure, torque and others. This screen can display virtual shift light with leather steering wheel. The shift paddles come with two satellite buttons for driving dynamics. Some interior features in 2018 Audi TT can be MMI touch, MMI navigation, WiFi hotspot, natural voice control, built-in phone box, cellphone, on-board antenna, Bang & Olsen sound system, and many more.
Move on the engine, the 2.5 liter and TFSI is expected to use. The 2.5 liter five-cylinder has been developed with better lightweight and it is capable to offer 400 hp as well as 354 pound-feet of torque. It means that 2018 Audi TT has about 60 hp and 24 pound-feet of torque more than the previous model. It goes with seven-speed S Tronic transmission with all-four wheel drive Quattro. By using this engine, the Roadster can hit 60 mph for its accelerate in just 3.9 seconds that is 0.2 second lower than the coupe while the top speed is 155 mph.
