The seventh generation of VW Golf R was launched in November 2016 by Volkswagen. It came out as the facelifted generation and they unveiled the all versions of this popular hatchback. The 2017 is in front of our eyes and this German automaker doesn’t give us any official information about the Golf R. We do expect that this beefed-up hatchback will come out with something interesting such as a more powerful engine design. It would be good to start the new 2018 VW Golf R with the updated exterior.
In the form of the design, there will be the same updates to provide as the rest of the lineup in Golf model. Up front, there will be a redesigned radiator grille with the lower strip chrome that is extended to the new LED daytime running lights. It also has new LED headlamps that they will include in standard package. Additionally, the bumper will be redesigned with the larger opening located in the middle. The side vents will be revised with the use of black-painted trim. With the new bumper design, it comes out with more aggressive look which is quite different from the previous model that was bland. The back part of the car has some notable changes such as taillights with new LED pattern and larger lamps located in the bumper. It also has new double five-spoke wheels to complete this 2018 VW Golf R hatchback.
What you are going to see inside will be the wide array of new technology. The company doesn’t change the current styling, but it has new touchscreen with gesture control.
