2019 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, Review
It was in 2017 model year of Nissan Pathfinder where we could find some revisions. It was launched with fresh exterior, more power output and more efficient engine, but the chassis is still old and it didn’t complete the feel of the car yet. It was not a spectacular well-equipped car, but it was quite pricey. Now, Nissan wants to release it back as the new 2019 Nissan Pathfinder with the revised chassis, new engine options and more innovations.
2019 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid
The current model didn’t get major changes and why they have to update it? It is because the new 2019 Nissan Pathfinder will go with new engine and new front end. The changes around these parts will be helpful to support its look, practicality, functionality and efficiency. The improvements around it will be helpful to give improved handling especially to deal with bumps easier than before, thanks to the new suspension setup and the possible revised D-platform to use. The new platform also provides longer wheelbase to make it lighter. Besides, the current model is still good with the design that will remind you to a minivan. We are in doubt if it will get drastic changes but the front end will be the same as the older models. The fresh look can be seen from the wide V-shaped grille and the aggressive headlights, but they will change the profile with more muscular lines for more muscular design to make it as a true SUV.
2019 Nissan Pathfinder will be designed with the more spacious interior since the longer wheelbase will be added. It has excellent seats layout and now it is expected to have some design and features from the Murano. It should be great to have wider center console, new instrument cluster, nicer HVAC grilles and new steering wheels to make it identical to the Rogue.
2019 Nissan Pathfinder Engine
It seems that the company doesn’t go with hybrid model at this time because they want to make the engine efficiency is better than ever. Therefore, we think that the best and the reasonable candidate to use is the 3.5 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine that is capable to work for almost 300 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. In addition, new Nissan Pathfinder comes with front-wheel drive setup as standard and all-wheel drive as the optional.
The price will be similar to the current model which will be started about $30,000. 2019 Nissan Pathfinder can be launched somewhere in 2018.
