2018 Dodge Durango SRT Specs, Price and Release Date
Entering the market as a mid-size SUV since 1998, the second generation was released as a full-size SUV which was debuted for 2004 to 2009. The redesigned version was released in 2011 with sportier and more upscale interior. 2018 Dodge Durango SRT will have a new face with the sportier look but the grille is smaller with the SRT logo in larger and wider air dam. The dual LED fog lights are available for the corners. The front fascia has thin air intakes and the headlights are still identical to the previous model but the inner parts of the lens are modified to complete the clear indicator in orange light. The front end has a new aggressive hood with the functional air intake as well as heat extractors. For the side profile, it is not too much like the design cue from the previous model since it has black finish along with the Hemi logo on the fenders. The upgraded brake system will support the car including the bright red, black wheels and Brembo calipers. The back has the same story with the downed fascia insert with some chrome finishes.
The cabin of the car will take more attention for those who do not mind to go inside. It is now available as the higher model and it is what we expected. 2018 Dodge Durango SRT will hit the market with the hand-wrapped design. The smooth dashboard is completed with contrast stitching just like the upholstery. The company replaces the shift control knob with T-handle shifter while glossy black chrome will be added to the center console. The steering wheel is the same as before at first look, but it does not have a flat bottom with the silver finish. The steering wheel has SRT logo on its hub with the familiar instrument clusters as before but will be updated with the SRT graphics as well as 180-mph of the speedometer. No announcement has been made about the pricing but the new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT can be around $42,000 for the base and $50,000 for the higher model. It is expected to come out sometime in 2018.
