2018 Mazda CX 9 Changes, Release Date and Review
Entering the worldwide market competition, the new 2018 Mazda CX 9 is ready with its compact SUV design and some experts consider it as one of the best contestants. It has a practical design with great performance and excellent fuel efficiency. The car is slightly bigger than the CX-5 and it has roomier cabin design with the 3-row seating layout. It has some stylish design changes to make it as a high-end luxury car. The biggest change is the all-new engine so that it can be an economical option for urban people.
The exterior styling department will be completed with chrome detailing accent around the grille as well as the bumper lines. The chrome details go over the roofline, the side windows and the door sills. It also has narrow slanting LED headlights for a lighter sporting sedan look. At the rear part of the 2018 Mazda CX 9, there will be LED taillights with an elegant design that taper to the trunk lid and there is a chrome accent beneath the rear bumper and the molded spoiler placed above the rear windscreen. The outer part of the car has 20-inch of spoke alloy wheels for a stylish and sporty touch.
The next part is about the interior design that sounds quality and luxury. It has high-quality plastics but gives you leather-like feel. The consonant analog dials are added for the instrument clusters and there is an LCD screen to display any information about the car. The second row of the seats has spacious legroom for adults.
2018 Mazda CX 9 Engine
Moving from the old V6 engine, the new 2018 Mazda CX 9 will receive all-new turbocharged four-cylinder and 2.5-liter engine that can provide 250 hp for its maximum and 227 hp on the standard. The torque is 310-pound feet with quick acceleration especially at low speeds. The turbo lag can be reduced with the use of Dynamic Pressure Turbo system. For those who have a significant concern about the fuel economy, it is better to use a smaller engine. Buyers can choose whether they will go with the AWD or FWD. The fuel consumption is about 21/27 mpg for the AWD and 22/27 mpg for the FWD.
2018 Mazda CX 9 has not published by the company but it is expected to come in the second half of 2017. The price tag should be more than $22,600.
