2018 Nissan Altima Sedan Redesign and Release Date
The newest generation of Altima is about to release. Presented as 2018 model, the new sedan could come up carrying the new improvements on the overall performance and some modifications in terms of design styling. Seen from the success of the latest version 2013 Altima as it includes the new sport SR model, we are assured the upcoming 2018 Nissan Altima will be built up much better than its forerunner. Thus, we are expecting the automaker will add some supported high-tech components and premium materials to attract the new potential buyers.
Some revamps on the external styling has been captured. The impressive V-shaped grille is added upon the front side of the sedan. Having the sharper headlights and taillights have created the aggressive view of the Altima. Again, the company will include some trim levels other than the base model comprising the S, SR, SV, SL types and even the Limited edition. As for the each, it will offer different setup in accordance to the model such as 16-inch wheels for the basic, 18-incg alloy wheels for the higher trim level.
To come up with the market demands, the 2018 Nissan Altima will also be equipped with several technological standards for the safety and entertainment systems including push-button ignition and driver power seats. Moreover, the heated seats and the high-quality upholstery will provide the comfort for the passengers while driving.
Under the bonnet of the sedan, the current configurations of a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder and 3.5 liter V6 version might be again used. Within the 4-cylinder engine, the sedan could easily produce the output of around 185 HP and 180 lb-ft of torque. Another displacement of 3.5 liter V6 might be opted for the higher sedan model. The engine could deliver the power output of around 270 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. As for the fuel consumption, the 2018 Nissan Altima could reach 31 MPG along with the former and around 22 MPG/city and 30 MPG/highway along with the latter engine respectively.
It seems we need to wait a bit as the arrival of the Altima mid-size sedan is anticipated during the middle of 2018. Talking about the price, recent estimations stated the beginning price for the base 2018 Nissan Altima could start around $23,000 up to $30,000 for the base model and higher for the advanced model.
