2018 Scion FRS
The new arrival of the next Scion generation has been reported couple times on the news. Today, the information is getting obvious as the car appearance starts unveiled. Presented as the 2018 sedan version, the Scion will be upgraded to meet up the modern car characteristics with significant betterments and refreshments. New design styling and powertrain will be expected to the 2018 Scion FRS. Despite the current illustration is not yet official but based on the spread out rumors the Toyota auto team has prepared to provide massive changes to make its new sedan to be competitive in the auto market.
As leaked in the latest spy shots, the future Scion will be available in coupe and sedan models. Available in the lighter weight, both the vehicles will be made of the carbon fiber materials allowing the better performance as well as the more efficient fuel consumption. The FRS dimension comes with 187 inches of length and 55 inches of height. In the front end, the revised bumper is highlighted with a new Grill and LED headlights, just similar to the Subaru Cross. Notably, there will not be a significant distinction between the two models for the outer look. The sedan may just come at 59 inches in height and 207 inches in length of the dimension.
The 2018 Scion FRS interior advances the considerable refurbishments. There will be the fine-leather materials to upholster the car seats. It offers three different colors as silver, red and black. Additionally, the cabin looks stunningly modern since new additional technological features are going to be installed. Touch screen display on the center dashboard will be supported with Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports and other entertainment packages. To provide secured driving, safety standards such as a stability control system, airbags, sensors and emergency brakes are equipped.
The engineer plans to engage some options for the new 2018 Scion FRS. First option could be 2.0 liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine units that easily deliver the output of 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Another engine for the coupe model might use a 2.0 liter boxer engine with the energy of 200 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. For the transmission, the configuration of the 8-speed automatic will be best mated.
The closest prediction reveals that the future Scion will be available in sales market by the end of 2017 or early 2018. Speaking about the 2018 Scion FRS price, the coupe version will be valued at around $25,000 while the sedan rates at $30,000.
