2018 Skoda Yeti
The latest renderings have revealed a prototype model of the newest Skoda Yeti generation. At glance, the SUV intact body looks much inspired with the concept of new Kodiaq seven seater. Even though it is not yet officially confirmed, not little captures have shown on how the all-new 2018 Skoda Yeti SUV will be alike while being ready to hit the 2018 auto market. Some changes and improvements are just advanced.
The new Yeti might be constructed under the German auto version of VW Tiguan-based SUV. Those could be noticed on the similar roofline, side skirts, and the identical door openings. However, the manufacturer has done some modifications on the new bumpers, a revised boot lid and also the better lighting systems. At the front end, we might notice the angular grille as in the Kodiak model and the twin headlights allowing the striking view of the 2018 Skoda Yeti. The full wide air intakes will be dropped in to create a smaller opening in the front bumper of Yeti.
Not much information on the interior details could be unveiled right now. Above all the restrictedness, the auto designer will supplement the dashboard panel with the same center console similar to the new Tiguan. The more obvious pictures on the additional technologies will be released sooner after the auto final production.
In terms of powertrain, the engineer will opt out to enhance the same Tiguan’s engine of a turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engines with the fuel economy of around 50 MPG for the 2018 Skoda Yeti. It remains possible as a unit of a 2.0 liter petrol with the output of 180 HP will be included as well. Further information on the acceleration and transmission system will be updated later.
The possible time for the Yeti’s arrival on the sale could take place at the early of 2018 while it will be first launched in 2017 auto show. As for the price, the 2018 Skoda Yeti will be valued at a starting of $21,000 for the base version and higher than $30,000 for the top model.
