2019 Lincoln Aviator comes to replace Lincoln MKT
If you have heard about the Lincoln Aviator, it was a cool car presented by the company around 2003 and it could last in 2005. It was a mid-size SUV but it didn’t create a spectacular hit at all for the company. But at this time, if you don’t mind to anticipate the new 2019 Lincoln Aviator, it will be an interesting option. The company will introduce the Navigator concept as a futuristic three-row crossover with more amazing design. It will be better with more luxurious options for modern market. We can say that the Aviator will be the baby Navigator.
The ongoing reports based on unofficial sources claimed that the new 2019 Lincoln Aviator will be the luxurious version of the predecessor, the Ford Bronco. We have to say that it is an interesting idea if the company can offer it as a premium off-roader but it seems it wouldn’t happen. It is a futuristic three-row seven seats with the design is more like soft-roader crossover model. Many said that it will use the new Ford Explorer platform and no spy photos are available yet. It is only expected to have similar look to the MKX as other rumors explained.
The upgraded equipment will be added for the new 2019 Lincoln Aviator. It is expected to have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, updated infotainment system with big touchscreen, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and some common safety features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear view camera and lane assist. The interior has high quality leather design to give comfortable seating to support six passengers.
2019 Lincoln Aviator Engine
2019 Lincoln Aviator will be designed with several engine options. The base engine is 2.3 liter turbo-four engine that is currently able to make about 285 hp. This SUV also has 2.7 liter EcoBoost twin-turbo to offer 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of twist. At this time, there is a big possibility that the company will use 3.5 liter EcoBoost too. It works with front-wheel drive as the standard and the all-wheel drive as the option. It is mated to six-speed auto transmission but it is possible to expect new ten-speed auto gearbox too.
The debut of 2019 Lincoln Aviator probably will be made in the end of 2018 or in the beginning of 2019. Nothing has been confirmed when it is all about the price. Other rumors said it will be the replacement of the Lincoln MKT which currently is about little more than $44,000. If they want to take the market share, the price should be competitive which can be around $46,000.
