2019 Subaru Tribeca Three Row 7-Seat SUV Spy Shots
With the use of Subaru Global platform, Subaru is ready to offer the replacement for the Tribeca and it will be the new 2019 Subaru Tribeca. As you probably know that the current model is available for its production in 2014. It is expected that the new modular architecture will be used to complete every model in Subaru. For the prototype, it is supported by rumors that Subaru will participate in the market with their larger crossover with more rugged and outdoor style. The prototype was covered with heavily camouflaged look. The front grille slats and all treatment is still similar to the current model.
The coming of 2019 Subaru Tribeca is expected to be the strong rival for the Ford Explorer and Mazda CX-9. Although no official announcement has been made, some rumors are available on the internet. We heard from some reliable sources that the company will support it with the highly influenced design from the Visiv 2 Concept with the new name to make it different from the current models. The company insiders mentioned that the Visiv 2 Concept previews the bigger SUV design from Subaru.
2019 Subaru Tribeca will continue its life as a mid-size crossover in US market. As far as we now, it was built between 2005 and 2014 and now for the US market, it seems wrong if you thought that Subaru will abandon the three-row SUV battle for good. Subaru, the Japanese automaker wants to go with something different. Other sources mentioned that it will borrow the styling cues from its big fellow, the Viziv-7 Concept. Something we find clear about the car is the longer wheelbase that will support it to be much more spacious than the previous model, but it is smaller than the Visiv-7 Concept.
2019 Subaru Tribeca Engine
It is possible if the company will take the engine from the Outback and the Forester by using the 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine to provide about 148 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be applied for new Subaru Tribeca but with the support of Toyota-based hybrid system to make it as the first turbo-diesel boxer plug-in hybrid engine in the world. Of course, we only could stand by rumors.
2019 Subaru Tribeca for its replacement should be available in 2018 and it will hit the dealership as the new 2019 model. Some spy photographers caught its prototype testing and it seems that the car is still under the development. For the price, we bet it is about $30,000 for the base.
