2020 Ford Bronco Concept Pictures
A reliable source that is close to Blue Oval mentioned that the company has serious commitment to bring the Ranger pickup truck back to the US market. It is because the F-150 is bigger and more expensive right now. The company currently sold it in more than 200 global markets and the Ranger will be placed below the F-150 for its price and smaller size but still goes with the rugged body construction from its bigger sibling. For the new 2020 Ford Bronco, it will be the evolution of the Everest SUV based on Ranger and it will hit overseas markets with shorter wheelbase and two-door model. It is specially designed for serious off-roader. It will be the strong rival for the Jeep Wrangler.
2020 Ford Bronco is quite possible to share the same platform to the all-new Ranger. This small crossover will be ready with new body and interior design to make it desirable. It will also come with more interior options to make it as a luxury crossover with high performance that will remind you to Mercedes G Class, but it has lower extent.
2020 Ford Bronco Engine Specs
To make it different from the Wrangler, the new 2020 Ford Bronco will be completed with more engine options. It is a luxury crossover with the base engine unit that can be 2.0 liter EcoBoost inline-four to make about 245 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. This engine is acceptable for European and American market. For those who want to go with more powerful option, it can be designed with the larger 2.7 liter twin-turbocharged V6 to provide more than 350 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. It means that the output is much more from the Wrangler. Currently, the diesel unit is the option in US market and it seems they will keep the 3.2 liter 5-turbo diesel for its emissions to provide 200 hp and up to 400 lb-ft of torque but takes less fuel.
2020 Ford Bronco based on rumors is possible to be launched in the end of 2019 with the price that should not be too far from the Wrangler with its base price about $27,000.
