New 2018 Audi Q3 Model, Review, Release Date, Price
In 2011, we saw the previous model of Audi Q3. It was a better version of small premium crossovers than the predecessor with better selling record. It happened because people amazed with the powerful engines and quiet cabin design. However, the coming of Mercedes CLA which was newer and better-equipped took people’s heart and took its position. To take back what they had before, Audi is coming out with their new 2018 Audi Q3. It does not come as a mid-life facelift car but with an all-new car.
Many reliable sources mentioned that Audi would provide a modular MQB platform. The Tiguan also uses this new platform for 2018 Audi Q3. It is the car that offers more inspirations about the Q3. It seems Audi would not provide the seven-seat version for this crossover because they have the larger Q5 and Q7 models to cover the current demand. It is only expected to have massive weight loss with the all-new running gear to give faster and better performance but still more efficient than before.
We have no much information available when it is all about the cabin design. Some trusted sources only report that the company will provide the new 2018 Audi Q3 with the more concern on the safety rating. It has a digital dash that will keep you connected to the digital era.
2018 Audi Q3 Engine
The main issue in the previous model is the fuel-efficient, and therefore the new 2018 Audi Q3 will be the proof to fix it. Rumors said that there would be three different engines. The base model will use the smaller 1.8-liter turbocharged engine which can produce 190 hp, and it is the same engine as the A6. The higher model has a larger 2.0-liter mill with the output about 240 and 260 hp. Both of them will be completed with the manual and front-wheel drive as the standard. For the first time in US market, there will be a high-performance version, the RS model which has 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four that is from the Golf R with the output about close to 350 hp and more than 300 lb-ft of torque. It is still unknown whether it will use the all-wheel drive as the standard or not.
